Why Do They Stay?

 It can be hard for someone on the outside to understand an abused person reason for staying.

• They have nowhere to go.

• Fear of retaliation towards them or family.

• A lack of resources.

• Don't want to be blamed for breaking up the family.

• Religious beliefs.

• Embarrassed and doesn't want anyone to find out.

This program is designed to educate the community as to why a victim continues to stay with their abuser even though they are continually subjected to abuse.
